As an undergraduate student in chemical biology, attending my first CSC conference was something I really looked forward to. I’m proud to be a student with Dr. Sharonna Greenberg at McMaster University. She is a remarkable professor who has quite significantly changed the undergraduate learning experience at this institution. I’ve been grateful to work with her, and I have learned many valuable lessons both towards being an educator and a scientist as a woman. I’ve also received many amazing life lessons from her. She invited me to this year’s WaFiC, so I wouldn’t be here without her!
